Our skills

As well as her primary role of protecting Trident, the UK’s strategic nuclear deterrent, HMS Talent is surprisingly versatile. Thanks to her stealthy nature, she can can provide invaluable support to Land Forces, including:

  • Collecting strategic and tactical intelligence
  • Inserting and extracting Special Forces personnel
  • Undertaking inland force projection – Tomahawk Cruise Missiles can destroy targets far in-land, at short notice and to pinpoint precision.

There are few places on earth where hunter-killer submarines like HMS Talent can’t play a useful role.
