HMS Hibernia (Belfast)

HMS Hibernia is the Royal Naval Reserve unit associated with Belfast.

HMS Hibernia is the Royal Naval Reserve’s newest unit, following the decommissioning of HMS Caroline in Belfast in December 2009.

As the only RNR unit in Northern Ireland, our Reservists represent a cross section of the Northern Ireland population. Although many of our Reservists come from the Greater Belfast area, some regularly travel from as far as Ballymena, Dungannon and Londonderry.
