How to do a bicep curl

The weight used will be dependent of fitness and strength levels. Using weights that are too heavy will cause injury.

Use a curl bar for best practice. Grip the curl bar with palms facing outwards and feet shoulder width apart.

Raise the bar by bending the arms upwards until the bar sits below the chin. Lower the bar in a controlled manner back to the start position.
